Welcome to IGAC
IGAC started as a group of individual movement artists who wanted to find an alternative to the rising costs of studio space in Toronto. The collective was formed to lease a space, divide the cost and share the administrative responsibility.
Over the years the space and the members involved have changed but the commit remains the same; uplifting each other and the community through sharing resources. To that end IGAC utilizes a non-hierarchal cooperative structure in which decisions are made through discussion and census. Currently the space supports seven Resident Artists and over 50 Associate Artists. IGAC is used as an dance studio, event venue, film set, and performance space.
